Mr. Binoy Acharya

Binoy Acharya is the Founder-Director of UNNATI – Organisation for Development Education, with over 30 years of experience in social development practice and research. His expertise includes participatory governance, social accountability, disaster risk reduction, and inclusion of vulnerable communities. He has worked closely with government systems, including operationalizing Gujarat’s state-wide MGNREGA social audit and contributing to India’s National Disaster Management Plan. Binoy has served in advisory roles with NDMA, MoPR, Gujarat CSR Authority, and multiple grassroots networks. He holds an MPhil in Social Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and currently mentors leadership and policy initiatives at both national and international levels.
