Lathi Katha: A Street Play on Women Seeking Justice

Lathi Katha is a powerful street play performed across 24 shows in 3 districts of Gujarat between 2–30 March 2021. Presented by Utthan in collaboration with Mahila Vikas Sangathan, Samarthan Mahila Sangathan, Vanita Shakti Mahila Sangathan, and Ekta Mahila Sangathan, the play explores the painful realities and strength of women seeking justice. Through community theatre, this campaign aimed to break the silence around gender-based violence and mobilize unbiased support for survivors.
