Nafisa Barot's Acceptance Speech - 'International Water Association (IWA) Women in Water Award, 2020'

Nafisa Barot has won the 'International Water Association (IWA) Women in Water Award, 2020' for her contributions to the establishment and promotion of community-based initiatives, especially those focused on WASH–water, sanitation and hygiene and to the roles and needs of women, over the past four decades. Award, one out of the six Award categories, acknowledges and celebrates female leadership in the field of water. Through this award, the IWA recognises those women working in the field of water who, through their demonstrated leadership, have had a significant positive impact on the development of the industry
