As we reflect on the past quarter, I am filled with pride for the progress made and gratitude for your continued support. From WASH-linked sewing programs in Valia to women-led seaweed farming pilots in Mahuva, this quarter’s work is a powerful reminder that when communities lead, transformation follows.Between May and July 2025, Utthan advanced its mission across Gujarat. Women’s federations continued to grow in strength, new livelihoods took root, and bold partnerships like our collaboration under the Government of India’s SEED scheme enabled thousands of women from De-notified and Nomadic Tribes to move toward long-term economic resilience. We’re excited to bring you the first edition of Janmaati, a space to document the grounded, collective change happening every day.
